Regarding installation, this filter does not require the water valve to be turned off. However, it is recommended to do so to de-pressurize if customers have difficulties removing the old filter or installing the new one. Every brand may have its own design, but the key part of the filter should be the same as the one you are using. Please do try the installation.

You must change your filter every 6 months or sooner, based on water quality and frequency of use.
